Florencia Heredia

Her professional practice is essentially focused on general practice and on natural resources and environmental law. She provides legal advice to the majority of the companies in this field and in the financing of projects having advised the lenders in all mining projects in our country: Bajo de la Alumbrera, Cerro Vanguardia and Veladero.

During 1997, she worked at the German Law Firm Beiten Burkhardt Mittl & Wegener, mainly at Münich and Moscow offices, participating in M&A, energy and environmental projects.

She has been speaker in several international seminars and took part in different Argentine Government commissions. Nowadays, she is member of various natural resources and environmental law entities. She has been appointed Trustee of the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation and Officer of the International Bar Association’s Mining Committee. She is founding partner of AMLA (Latinamerican Association of Mining Lawyers), member of IMPS (“International Mining Professionals Society”) and Fundamin (an argentine association for mining studies), and Chair of the Environmental Committee of Buenos Aires Bar Association.

She has been awarded many times as leading lawyer in the fields of mining and project finance by international publications such as Chambers & Partners, Who’s Who and Latin Lawyer.

Florencia has been member of Estudio Beccar Varela for the past 16 years, where she was partner for more than eight years.
